Welcome to India, the land of vibrant cultures and traditions that produce an eerie sense of unity among the people even though they are so distinctly apart. Each community that is present in India has its own set of beliefs and festivals that correspond to it. I believe that Indian festivals are the most effulgent festivals in the world, be it Diwali, the festival of lights which is a very important festival of the Hindus or the Ganesh festival in which huge mud statues of Lord Ganesh and placed in every nook and corner of the country and people worship him and observe a fast during the festival.

india country of festivalsIndia is known all over the world for numerous reasons and one of the biggest reasons is the festivals that are celebrated here. What fascinates me the most is that people irrespective of their financial and social status come together and celebrate these festivals.

The country is a rich combination of almost everything. If you want to go for trekking the best places lies in northern side, while neighbour country nepal has world’s most famous trekking circuit Everest base camp trek. Since it forms a large part of Asia but is towards the southern part of it, the climate of the country is really very pleasant and even suits kids who are generally sensitive towards the slightest change in climate. Each part of the country has a distinct climatic pattern and you must check out the climate before setting off to the place.

The technologically advanced India and the traditional India walk hand in hand without tarnishing the beauty of the other. The country boasts of some of the best hospitals and engineering institutes in the world, simultaneously, the place is endowed with natural beauty that the people take care of and there some exotic gardens such as the Vrindavan Gardens in Mysore, the Mughal garden in Delhi and the Lal Bagh Botanical Garden in Bangalore. These are just a few names among the scores of them that the country is filled with. Visiting these gardens is a different experience in it altogether.

india attractive places There is a lot that can be said in praise of this land that is filled with life and energy, but it will all be incomplete if I don’t mention the famous Indian personalities who have left an indelible impression on the minds of many across the globe. There are pioneers in every field, the most famous being Sachin Tendulkar, who the world believes is the God of Cricket today. Mother Teresa is the epitome of compassion and people across the world bow down to her today. There are musicians such as A R Rahman who produce world class music.

I know that you are intrigued by this country and would love to visit it and the best part is that when you visit the country you will be greeted with “Welcome to India” by the locals and you will feel that positive vibes when you hear those simple words
